Can you say what your strategy is in one sentence? It is our experience that most companies and their principals can not deliver a clear and concise summary of their strategy. The strategic process is difficult enough, adding another process to make it simple is often too much to ask! However, whenever you take the time to craft a simple strategy statement (One sentence only!) results are often spectacular. There is no stronger commercial tool than a good “Elevator pitch”; but what experience shows is that a clear statement also helps retain your employees!
